Biography:

Emily’s musically inclined parents helped her love music starting at a young age. She taught herself how to play the piano in elementary school and later took private lessons with Mickey Lytle. As a self-motivated musician, Emily cultivates this attitude in her own students, and encourages them to pursue all of their musical interests, whatever they may be.

Ms. Worzalla’s approach to teaching centers on positive feedback and cultivating students’ enthusiasm for music. Instruction is tailored specifically to students’ personal musical aspirations. Emily teaches the fundamentals of technique, performance, and age-appropriate music theory and history, so that students will have a complete foundation in music meant to support future study and enjoyment. Emily teaches students of all ages and abilities, and particularly enjoys getting beginners fired up as they start out.
