Ethan Warden is a recent addition to the Madison area. He grew up in Missouri and recently received his Bachelors of Music Education – Instrumental from Missouri State University (MSU). His latest adventure is a Masters of Music Performance in Trombone at UW-Madison
Due to his experience as a music educator, Ethan is comfortable teaching music in ensembles of varied sizes – from individual players to entire wind bands. He has worked as a brass technician with area marching bands, taught private lessons, and spent a semester as a student teacher at Verona Area High School with Eric Anderson during his time in college.
Ethan approaches private music instruction on a personalized student-to- student basis. He
believes all students have specific learning needs that need to be addressed in a way that matches
each student’s personality and playing style. His goal is to teach students that they are in control
of their own learning by developing their abilities to assess and adjust their playing as they grow
Outside of music, Ethan enjoys going kayaking, hiking, biking, yoga, and Madison’s many great
