Early Childhood Music Classes

Babies Music (3-18 mos, with caregiver)

Participating in music enhances bonding between baby and caregiver while encouraging the discovery of sounds, movement, and textures. Watch as your child’s language skills increase through singing and vocal play.

Wednesdays 10-10:30am                      $70/8 weeks

SESSION 2: February 1st– March 22nd

Toddler Tunes (18mos-3yrs, with caregiver)

Repetition of familiar tunes, dances, and books stimulates the toddler’s musical learning. By absorbing new melodies and predicting the movements that will accompany them, young children are more easily able to soothe themselves and develop critical listening skills. Come share this time with your toddler while singing and dancing to your favorite songs and learning new ones as well.

Family Music (18mos-5yrs, with caregiver)

Join together for songs, movement, and instrument play. This class is perfect for families with multiple children. Activities will be adapted so that everyone can participate together.

Wednesdays 9:15-9:45am         $80 for up to 2 children

Family Music (18mos.-5 yrs w/caregiver)

Children and their caregiver are invited to sing, dance and play together in this special mixed- age class. Activities will be adapted so that children of all ages can participate. This class is perfect for families with multiple children, older children who enjoy being role models and younger children who are motivated by leadership from older children.

Wednesdays 9:15-9:45am         $60*/5 weeks
*Class fee covers up to two children; $25 for each additional child.

Speech and Music Groups

Rhapsody Arts Center and Aspire Therapy and Development Services are teaming up to offer Speech and Music groups! In each 45 minute session, we will work on improving social and communication skills while singing, playing instruments, and learning about music.

Preschool: 11:30am-12:15pm, Elementary: 1:00-1:45pm        $320/8 weeks

Thursdays, June 22-August 10

Little Voices (4-6 yrs)

Young singers come together and experience their first group singing class in Little Voices. This class introduces music notation and beginning singing techniques through vocal play and music games. Students will put on a small presentation for family and friends on the last day of class.

Session 2: July 27-August 24

Kids N Keys (4-6 yrs)

This class engages children in singing, learning to play simple instruments and introduces them to reading and writing simple music notation all within the process of developing basic keyboard skills. Kids N Keys is excellent preparation for private lessons or our Beginning Piano class.

Mondays 4:00-4:45pm         $100/5 weeks
Session 1: June 12-July 17            No class July 3
Session 2: July 24-August 21
