Special Projects

Here are some projects we are working on. If you can assist us in achieving these goals, please let us know.

Current Projects

  • Consider Rhapsody for your year-end giving! We hope you’ll think of us. Our scholarship program, community programs, instrument purchases, and faculty professional development are possible through generous donations from people like you. Rhapsody is a 501c3 nonprofit community school of the arts and your gift is tax deductible.

Recent Projects

  • Rhapsody Arts Center is proudly launching Art in Youth, a three-part cultural program that will add color to Wisconsin’s white winter landscape and provide a healthy dose of cabin fever relief. The program will involve an ensemble residency, inter-generational visual art, and musical indoor recess activities at Glacier Edge. These will be taking place from January through April.
  • Rhapsody Completes Pennies for Pianos Campaign!
We began our Pennies for Pianos campaign to strive to become an all-acoustic studio, improving the music instruction for all our students. Students and their families brought in pennies and other change to Rhapsody for the piano piggy bank, a decommissioned piano that was painted and re-purposed by Rhapsody art students and faculty.  The piano piggy bank makes cool musical sounds when you drop in a coin!  Due to generous donations from the community, we were able to purchase four new pianos! Students will benefit from playing and learning on these instruments for years to come. Thanks to our business and individual sponsors.

Rhapsody Raises Funds for Our Scholarship Program

Thanks to all our families and to the following business sponsors for making this year’s Spring Fling a success! Funds were raised for our scholarship fund, enabling all students to study the arts regardless of financial situation.
