Canvas Painting (Grades 3-8) New!
Tuesdays, 4-5:15pm: September 7, 14, 21, 28
Brush up on your acrylic painting skills and learn new artistic methods and techniques in this canvas painting class. Canvas painting is the next step up for more experienced painters already comfortable with paper surfaces.

3-D Art (K-Grade 3)
Wednesdays, 4-5:15pm: September 8, 15, 22, 29
Explore creating art out of paper mache, modeling clay, wood, and odds and ends from your junk drawer. With a little glue and imagination, you can create wonderful sculptures that don’t require a trip to the art store. Bring your own junk! Official art supplies provided.

Pencil Warriors (Grades 3-8)
Thursdays, 4-5:15pm: September 9, 16, 23, 30
This pure drawing class will push your skills to the next level. The instructor will build on students’ existing
drawing skills with new techniques and instruction focusing on pencil drawing. Whatever images you enjoy
creating, the class is designed to help you move to the next level of artistic expression.

Art for Adults: Watercolor Card Making (18 years+) New!
Tuesdays, 6:00-7:30pm: October 5, 12, 19
Discover your artistic talent through the beginner-friendly medium of watercolors! This introductory watercolor painting class will teach new artistic techniques each week. Participants will work with washes, pen and ink, stylized brush strokes, sponges and watercolor pencils. Walk away every week with a new card!

Intro to Watercolor Painting (Grades 2-5) New!

This beginner’s course will explore watercolor painting techniques. Each class will focus on watercolor methods using mixed media application such as oil pastels, pen and ink.

Watercolor Cards for Preschoolers (3-6 years) New!
Tuesdays, 10:00-11:00am: October 5, 12, 19
Greeting cards give kids the ability to create art that’s easily shared with friends and family! In this class,
children will learn to use basic painting techniques and tools to create miniature works of watercolor art.
Students will make one or more new cards at each class.

Drawing 101 (K-Grade 3)

This skill-building class for the young artist encourages and shapes early drawing techniques. Each session will build on the skills learned as students work their sketches and ideas into finished pieces of fantastic artwork!

Gallery Art (K-Grade 3) New!

Learn the principles of art while using paint, pastels, pencil, and more in this mixed media class. Using art history as a source of inspiration, students will create works of art based on subjects that influenced famous artists like Van Gogh, Picasso, and Warhol.

Learn to Draw (Grades 3-8)

Take your drawing skills to a new level! Learn the secrets to becoming a better artist through techniques that never fail. Each class will build your skills and knowledge to help you become more skillful at drawing and sketching. Draw with pencil, markers, color pencils and oil pastels to create dramatic images.

Just Add Paint (K-Grade 4)

Non-traditional painters unite! This class uses all types of mediums to create multi-media masterpieces, including glue, ink, pastels, and more. Each session will focus on the organization of composition, balance, and color mixing.

Cartooning 101 (Grades 2-8)

Have fun creating your own characters while learning the basics of cartoon art. Design, create, and write your own stories by using your imagination—just like the pros!

Latin American Art (3-5 Years)

Children will explore artwork of Latin America with colorful and creative art lessons. During this
experience, children will have the opportunity to use and experience the Spanish language. A parent
or caregiver is required to stay with children during class sessions.

Come let your imagination flow out of your paintbrush and pencil while we explore drawing and painting in this multi-medium class. Learn to organize your artwork and how to match and blend colors while using watercolors, tempera, and acrylic paints.
