Theater, Voice, Musical Theater

Catie is happy to be joining the Rhapsody Arts teaching family as a theater teacher and coach. Growing up in Milwaukee, WI, she started music and theater lessons when she was just four years old. She continued her arts education through high school and graduated with a BA in theater and music from the University of Miami, Florida. While in college she performed in numerous opera productions, including the roll of Carmen, and was a section leader and soloist for the top choir. She directed  productions of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and Little Shop of Horrors and was the executive producer of a student run theater and film production company.

After graduation, she and her husband moved to Madison, WI.  Catie has been working with many professional and community theaters in Wisconsin as a director and assistant director, including Skylight Opera, Chamber Theater, and Pius XI High School in Milwaukee and Forward Theater in Madison. She continues to pursue her work as a theater director in the area.

She is passionate about arts education and is looking forward to bringing theater into young people’s lives.
