Hanna Pieper

Music Therapy, Piano, Voice

hannaHanna Pieper grew up on a farm outside of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. She began taking piano lessons from her mom in third grade and later transferred to a private studio.

Throughout junior high and high school, Hanna was involved in many musical ensembles, including band and choir. Hanna attended Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa where she received her Bachelor’s of Music Education and Music Therapy (BME-MT) degree in 2008. As an undergraduate, she studied piano with Dr. Ted Reuter. She also participated in Symphonic Band and Wartburg Choir. Through choir, Hanna was able to travel to Europe and South Africa throughout the month of May 2008.

Hanna recently completed her music therapy internship in Lowell, Michigan at the Franciscan Life Process Center. She is excited to move to the Madison area and the music therapy opportunities. Hanna looks forward to becoming a Cheese-head and rooting for the Badgers!
