Rhapsody Arts Center

Sue Brockman

Occupation: Worked in healthcare marketing in the Madison area for more than 30 years.

How do you enjoy the Arts in your own life? Have had a life-long love of music. Music is part of my life every day whether it is practicing piano, attending outdoor concerts in our community, enjoying large productions in Madison or simply listening to the radio.

Why support the Arts? I truly believe that the Arts in all forms is important for a person’s overall well-being.

Sue started taking organ lessons at the age of eight and continued throughout middle school. She continued enjoying music participating in middle and high school choirs and a cappella groups while growing up in Fond du Lac. After Sue and her husband, Bob, raised two children in Verona, she started taking piano lessons a few years ago after discovering the ‘Piano Lessons for Insanely Busy Adults’ program at Rhapsody.

Sue graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Journalism from UW-Madison and completed her Master’s of Business Administration from Edgewood College. She has more than 30 years of marketing, communications and public relations experience in Madison. Sue hopes to combine her life-long love of music and marketing experience to further the mission of Rhapsody Arts Center.
