Biography
Tina Hunter is an administrator at UW-Madison, where she oversees departmental matters including budget, personnel, staffing, policy, alumni relations, development, and communications. With degrees in English/Writing, History, and Educational Administration with a focus on first generation and non-traditional student success, Tina possesses a breadth of experience and knowledge.

Tina’s past roles include positions at UW-Whitewater, UW-System, UW-Extension, UW-Learning Innovations, UW-Madison’s Graduate School, the UW-Madison Department of Spanish and Portuguese, and the Mead Witter School of Music. Active on various campus committees including Personnel Policies and Procedures, Letters & Science Climate, and the Committee on Women in the University, she also serves as an Associate Lecturer with Counseling Psychology and a career mentor with UW-Madison SuccessWorks.

Tina recently finished her second term on a local school board, serving as an officer and Policy Committee Chair. Her interests include promoting wellness through a myriad of approaches, life and career coaching, and writing in a variety of genres.
